What is it? Where does it come from?

Origins: Ginseng is a perennial plant that belongs to the Panax genus, native to North-East Asia. 
There are around 10 species cultivated across the world, with the most well-known species being Panax Ginseng

Collection: At Erborian, our Ginseng comes from Korea, which is known for its excellent quality. The plant is harvested at 6 years of age
It is harvested in the months of September and October. 
The root is dried and cleaned to extract the best molecules.

Traditional Use in "Traditional Korean Medicine":

Used in Korean Pharmacopeia, Korean Ginseng has an excellent reputation due to its concentration in specific saponins: ginsenosides, Ginseng's active molecules. 

It is recognized for numerous virtues: 

- On well-being, fighting against stress

- Helps to combat fatigue and provides a feeling of vitality. 

- Supports the immune system and its natural defenses.
